Sony launches new Vaio N notebooks
sonyvaiofashion.jpgDestined to compete with ASUS' leather bound laptops, Sony has released the new fashion line of the VAIO which is supposed to resemble a wooden texture touch, merging antique with digital. The new series is supposed to be Vista Premium ready and ships next month. Vista ships next year though, so I do think it would be wiser to buy a new computer after Vista ships.

Starting at $1,000, the N Series models feature 15.4-inch displays, Core Duo processors (in the top-end at least) and a dual-layer DVD burner, along with the usual Sony frills like a Memory Stick reader, i.LINK port and ExpressCard slot. There's also 802.11a/b/g WiFi, (...) (source)
