The P858 is being positioned as the premium model for Samsung's 2006 Q1 lineup. However, from what the previews have shown, this model leaves much to be desired.
This phone has many negative points, among which was the fact that it had no multitasking support, had slow microSD access, and surprisingly, the lack of simultaneous vibrate and ring.
The main selling point for this phone was supposed to be the camera feature with a high end 3 Megapixel camera onboard, that comes with TV out functionality. On this, it must be said that the video and low light performance for photos were good, but the horribly slow shutter lag really put a damper on the camera functionality of this phone.
For the price you're paying, consider getting the Sharp 903, Sony Ericsson K800i, or Samsung Z710.
