Lately, I've heard a lot of rumors saying that Apple is not going to use Intel chipsets anymore. Apparently the company is interested in switching to AMD or VIA processors, but wouldn't count on it very much. I'm just as skeptical as Jon Stokes from Ars Technica, who thinks the change wouldn't be healthy for Apple.
My humble opinion? It's not going to happen, but rumors are constructive. Maybe Apple will bring something new, too!
