Though 3G is the most interesting new feature we've all been expecting the new iPhone also has thinner edges, a full plastic back, a flush headphone jack and the iPhone 2.0 firmware. It should be available in 70 countries worldwide (22 getting it on July 11th) works with enterprises, runs 3rd party apps and something that may sound interesting it does all of these for a cheaper price : starting from $199 for the 8GB version ($299 for the 16GB version).
A few added features that may probably lead you to buying an iPhone:
- 3G speeds trounce the competition, with pageloads 36% faster than the N95 and Treo 750, Apple says.
- Customers who purchased a 2.5G iPhone on or after May 27 and want to swap it out for a new iPhone will be able to do so without incurring an additional handset charge for the new device. They will of course need to turn in their 2.5G iPhone
Are you ready for the switch?
