
Like I said, there's much interst in solid state hard drives and though they're not cheap, customers want it. Since the MacBooks don't have it in the box, there is a company that installs them on both MacBooks and MacBook Pros for a reasonable price.
They're called ExperCom and can deliver you a 15-inch MacBook Pro with a 120GB SSD for a $2,649 price (the normal 200GB HDD goes for $2,000) while a 13-inch Macbook with 60GB SSD will cost you $1649. The company also promises to transfer all your files from your existing syste, but for a fee. Check them out.
