Almost everything can be attained with a high level of geekness. As you can probably see this guy, Kap4001 on Flickr, managed to build a few see-thru laptops. But wait we don't really see one through another and no he didn't took the displays off. What he did? He was ingenious enough to add a picture on each display and make it look like it was seeing thru.
He has five laptops aligned: iBook G3, IBM Thinkpad t41, IBM Thinkpad t23, an old Toshiba Satellite Pro 430cdt and an old Apple Powerbook 180. The toughest part? To convince the Powerbook to display a simple jpeg picture.
