It's not every day that I get to present a laptop that includes Blu-Ray disc playback and sells for less than a thousand. The new Dell Inspiron 1525, which is an entry level Inspiron, starts at just $879, plays Blu-Ray at 720p resolution (too bad), has a 15.4 inch widescreen display and can be easily connected to a TV via HDMI. The new Dell Inspiron 1525 has a built-in Broadcom Media PC accelerator located in the mini-card slot, the price is good but the fact that it comes with an integrated video card is not making me very happy.
