Why is Microsoft announcing more and more updates lately? Could it be because of the big buzz Apple is getting with their new releases which seem to come at regular time frames? Looks like Microsoft learned something from Apple, even if it's just marketing.
Today I've found out that the new IE 8 beta could be release very soon and I'm talking like the next four months. The new version will be mostly aimed to developers, will provide more security, additional interface options and will support web standards better.
I'd sure like to see it up and running because to be honest I'm sick and tired to get Shockwave or Flash errors when I try to install them on Internet Explorer. These and the fact that there are so many add-ons to Firefox, kept me away from using IE for the last 2 years. Maybe tha changes with IE8.

Looking forward to this ... because IE 7 is awful.
