
If you already know the grat "Toshiba Portege R500" you should know the success it had as a ultra-light laptop. Things are going in the right direction with the guys from Toshiba because I've just heard that Portege R500 is getting a 3G upgrade which now makes it much more appealing than before.
Two new versions of the Portege R500 will be available on the market, both with 12.1 inch display, with 2GB of RAM and a 1.20GHz U7600 CPU, with the first one coming out with a 64GB SSD (it's obvious there's big interest in SSD these days) that weighs 1.72lbs and costs €2,500 ($3,660) while the other one coming with a normal 120 GB HDD, going for €2,050 (about $3,000).
