Just got my eyes on the latest Blu-ray player from Panasonic (NYSE:MC) dubbed DMP-BD50 that should deliver high definition 1080p quality. It's smart enough to play all the existing audio formats, Blu-ray 2.0 and includes the BD-Live Function that allows you to access bonus content online via an ethernet connection.
Another plus is the fact that you can link it to a HD camcorder or with a digital camera thanks to the HDMI terminal. It also has a SD card slot to get your files easier and if you need to find certain scenes the AVCHD DirectNavigator function helps you.
