From what I've heard, Mitsubishi HC4900U is the best HD 1080p projector that you can buy for $1,995. It's true the real price is $2,495 and they offer a $500 rebate until the end of the month, but a company exec is saying that the offer may be prolonged indefinitely. So why not make it $2k if they will have the offer on? Only Mitsubishi knows.
There is one thing I didn't like from what I saw in the pictures and that is the black plastic. That's not really black, and looks cheap. Other than that it's the best price for a HD 1080p projector.
