Ever since I was a kid I wanted to see if I can fool the demo software licenses. I'm not a hacker or a programmer to have coding abilities, instead I used the simplest (oldest) option: resetting the clock of my computer. Can you imagine that this trick is rumored to work on iTunes rentals, too?
I live in Europe so I can't test it myself, but our friends from TUAW did it and apparently it worked to increase the 30-day time limit. The picture says it all isn't it? There is one drawback to that. If you fast-forward your calendar to the due date you will lose the movie from the library (but not from your drive).
It's weird but I'm sure it will get fixed soon. If you experienced it how about a comment below to let us know?
