China Mobile decided today to stop all negotiations involving the iPhone and the Chinese market. It's not the first time when two big companies can't get to the end of the deal but after saying that the "iPhone model was not suitable for China" in November I was thinking Apple will feel offended and will stop any talks.
That wasn't the case because a spokesman from China Mobile announced today that they've terminated discussions with Apple to bring the iPhone in their country and gave no explanations, but I can come up with a few. What about the sharing agreement fee? Steve Jobs probably asked for a sum that the biggest carrier in China couldn't (or wouldn't) pay.
Apple has an alternative, China Unicom. What do you think it will happen?
