Been reading Gearater today and I just heard of another biggest, fastest, world's first product from Samsung. This time they've announced the new GDDR5 memory chipset that is supposed to kick all other in the behind, because it can transfer data with up to 6Gbps, while the power consumption is down by 20 percent, operating at 1.5 volts.
The GDDR5 chipsets will be used in graphics card and Samsung already delivered samples to ATI and NVIDIA and the result seems to be great.
Samsung planned to get more than 50% of the high-end graphics cards available on the market, by 2010. If the price is right I think it's doable.
