After all those bad news about the OLPC I think it's time for a good one. According to The Wall Street Journal, Microsoft will begin their testing sessions to see how good Windows XP is running on OLPC XO, next month in the United States, Romania and India. 
Of course such rumors hit the market one year ago when we first heard about this program but nothing turned out to be true so far.
James Utzschneider general manager of Microsoft's Unlimited Potential Group, declared that before doing anything concrete, Microsoft needs to be uber-happy with the results before they make a commitment to the Governments.
This is why I think we shouldn't strech very much with this one, because it may not happen that soon.
