
I don't think Apple made it a habit to do charity work, but they managed to melt my heart this time when they donated more than 100 iPods to the high school students in Poway, California. Steve Boyack, wrote to Steve Jobs about the issue and was contacted later by Michael Foulkes, Apple's senior manager for state and local government affairs, to agree with donating to the kids that lost their homes in the wildfires.
