Dec 5
Chinese "stealing" from their own

There is nothing new to the fact that the Chinese are replicating almost every successful story on the cellphones market, but things may have changed because it looks like they're working "against" their own people. A clone of the well known HTC Touch have been spotted from an anonymous manufacturer under the codename SG730.

There are two different things between these two and the first one is the fake one runs on Windows Mobile 5 while HTC Touch does it on Windows Mobile 6 while the second one is more like an addition with SG730 packing a SiRF III chipset for GPS navigation. Oh, and I forgot to mention the "replica" has a fingerprint reader, incorporated.

If you're interested SG730 sells in China, but only in bulk orders (thousands).
