I am quite curious that the Russian officials agreed to allow the commercialization of the BlackBerry in their country from 2008. With all the acusations and security concerns it's good to know that MTS and Vimpelcom, biggest carriers in Russia, got the green light and will import the BlackBerry from the first quarter of 2008.
The same MTS, had them for sale in Ukraine since October so I guess the ex-Soviet Union countries are trying to become trendy.
The green light is for 1 year only, but I'm sure it will be prolonged because when you get to love a BlackBerry you can't stay away and thanks to the word of mouth more and more will want one.
