
It doesn't involve any on/off controls other than the smart light sensor detector that can tell if the night has come and the lamp should glow. The only "tech" you get is inside the jar where we have a AA rechargeable battery, a solar cell and hose warm colored LED lights. Don't worry about rain getting in or other weather conditions because if it got some sun to recharge, it will glow just to impress your neighbours.
For the price of $35 I think I could buy two for my porch or maybe for my home office when I stay late and write. Anyway, that would make a nice addition. Hope you like them!
