If you're traveling a lot and you have a habit of dropping things on the floor, like a laptop for example, then Panasonic just announced their newest models that should protect you from your actions as a sloppy business man (or woman). Panasonic Toughbook Y7, T7 and W7 are the latest "tough" models that would protect your valuable information (and your investment, because you pay money for a laptop) from dropping it or spilling drinks over.

The hard drive resists ground hits from 2.5 feet on 26 different axes, the LCD with shatter-prone glass won't crack if dropped from 1 foot above and when it comes to spilling drinks, how about if it won't happen anything to it with up to 6 ounces of liquid (continuously). Now onto what's inside you get Intel's Core 2 Duo processor at 1.6GHz, 1GB (or 2) of RAM, a shock mounted 80GB hard drive, built-in Bluetooth, a microSD slot and a DVD Super Multi Drive. Panasonic Toughbook (CF)Y7 - 14.1-inch screen, 3.7lbs and has a battery that keeps it in business for 5 hours. Price: $2,400,

Panasonic Toughbook (CF)W7 - 12-inch screen, 3lbs and the battery runs for 7hours. Price: $2,100.

Panasonic Toughbook (CF)T7 - that's a tablet with a complete touchscreen display which won't feature the optical drive I've mentioned above. It only weighs 3.3 lbs and can stay on up to 8 hours. Price: $2,100.
