No it's not a laptop, this is a hybrid personal computer from NEC, codenamed Powermate P5010. It was already released in Japan, Australia and New Zealand and should come to the States pretty soon. Here are the details and I am sure you will want one on your desk.

- 17.1-inch display that does 1440 x 900 resolutions
- 200 GB SATA hard drive
- ATI Radeon X1200 integrated graphics card
- up to 4GB of RAM
- dual layer DVD
- WiFi
Though, this is not the fastest I've seen, if you want one just because it's innovative, the price for the 8.8 pound NEC Powermate P5010 is US$1,741.
