 When Gigabyte released the U60, their first ultra mobile PC, it brought a smile on our faces to see so many interesting features, a split keyboard, TV tuner and GPS expansion slots. Though they are busy with building mother boards, Gigabyte found time to upgrade their UMPC models with the new second generation M704. Its the same CPU model but it runs 20% faster then the CPU in the U60 (the U60 CPU was 1000Mhz). Also while the screen size is only slightly bigger the resolution of the M704 screen is nearly twice that of the U60 screen, which is a big improvement. Finally battery life is slightly extended.

Actually, it's the same cpu as the U60 c7-m 1.2Ghz.
There are very few improvements from the U60, slightly larger screen, larger hdd and better camera but the cpu and chipset are the same and so is the 768 DDR2 RAM. So actually it's hardly worth upgrading when you realise that the main difference is the price...
