Ferrari cars to consume 40% less fuel by 2012

The green environment train is preparing to leave with more and more companies preparing to join in. Ferrari is the last one that announced they plan to reduce fuel consumption with up to 40% by using lighter materials and increased engine performances. That sounds like the perfect thing if you consider the reduced CO2 emissions that come along with that, from 400 grams/km to 280-300 grams/km.

Ferarri forecasted to sell 6000 models this year and would like to implement their green project by 2012. Good luck!
