If a regular laptop or a personal computer won't do it, then I advise you should lay your eyes on a workstation, and Dell has two new Precision models that you can choose from. Dell Precision T5400 and T7400 are two quad-core workstations that people say are the fastest we've ever seen.
Working on Intel's newest technology, the 45-nanometer Xeon at up to 3.20GHz X5482 on Precision T7400, with up to 4GB of RAM, nVIDIA's Quadro FX5600 graphics cards with up to 1.5GB memory, two or three hard drives that can store up to 3TB I think you have the idea. Lots of "up to" and lots of big numbers to convince you to pay (starts) from $1,600 or $1,850, up to the sky, for one of those two models.
