Today was a good day for cellphones news but I think you would be interested to know a little bit about this one because it involves Apple's iPhone and many of you out there still want to buy one. Apparently the European Wireless provider, Vodafone, got a court order that will force the Germans from T-Mobile to sell iPhones without a contract but the parent company, Deutsche Telekom is allowed for an appeal within two weeks.
Vodafone would like to keep the German Wireless market clean without binding the user to long-term plans just to get their hands on the iPhone.
News so far mentioned that the court order is not only forbidding T-Mobile to sell iPhones on a contract base, but requires them to halt all sales no matter what. A final ruling is expected in 2 weeks, with no new iPhones on the German market until then.
