eMachines, one of the fastest growing PC makers, that has been aquired by Gateway in 2004, announced today that they will be releasing two new models for the Holidays Seasons at great prices. The two models are T5234 and T3626, targetted to families, students or consumers that need performance with lower costs.

eMachines T5234 is running on the powerful AMD dual core Athlon 64 X2 4000+ processor with a real speed of 2.1GHz, 2 x 512MB L2 cache and 2000MHz FSB, sports 1GB of DDR2 RAM that can go up to 2GB, 320GB storage on a SATA II 7,200rpm hard drive, intergrated NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE graphics card with up to 128MB, a dual layer DVD burner and a 15-in-1 dgital media reader. The suggested price for T5234 is $434.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.

eMachines T3626 won't get you a speed ticket like the one above, but would still be a great choice. The difference are that it runs on AMD's Sempron 3800+ processor (2.2GH with 256KB L2 cache), has 160GB storage on a 7,200 rpm hard drive and uses NVIDIA GeForce 6100 integrated graphics card. This one will be available for $349.99 after the $50 mail-in rebate.

Both models come with Windows Vista Home Premium and should be available as you read on eMachines.
