Word on the market is that TomTom's ONE XL model, which is the widescreen version of TomTom's ONE is getting an upgrade dubbed ONE XL-S. The main thing is to figure out what the S means and I am quite sure that's not hard if we consider that ONE XL still lacks on text-to-speech.
So yes, the new ONE XL-S will bring a voice to tell you when to turn. Our sources say that it will also feature NavCore version 7 installed with MapShare that could be used on ONE XL, too, if wanted. This new upgrade from TomTom should be availabel in a few weeks with a $50 price increase.
My honest opinion about this one, is that it's not enough. I mean when you upgrade something, it should be something that amazes and I think the new Tom Tom ONE XL-S won't.
