Today, Sony made an upgrade in its T series releasing the new ultra-compact digital camera, Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2 in five tempting colors: blue, green, pink, white or black. With Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens (38-114mm) that can do 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization, an 8 megapixel sensor (1/2.5-inch CCD) and built-in 4GB storage space, expandable with Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo cards, I am sure you've made up your mind.
Sony DSC-T2 has a 2.7-inch touchscreen LCD display with 230K pixels, face detection technology, autoexposure, autofocus and Sony's "Smile Shutter" which takes the picture when the subject smiles (interesting!!!). Related to connectivity it has the commong USB 2.0 slot and high definition component video.
Designed for those that don't like a big camera, the new DSC-T2 weighs 156g and the dimensions are 87 x 57 x 20 mm so you can slip it in your pocket easily. I'm sure if would make a nice gift for the Holidays and so does Sony, because it will be release by December and the price is $350.
