I've managed to get my eye on the latest monitor from Samsung, a 16:10 widescreen and I can say that's impressive. Samsung SyncMaster 931BW is a 19-inch WXGA+ monitor that does 1,440 x 900 resolutions, 300 cd/m2 brightness and sports a 2,000:1 contrast ratio. It's extremely fast when it comes to the response time, only 2 miliseconds, has a 170 degree viewing angle and is HDCP compatible and equipped with DVI-D digital input terminal.
