From what we've heard so far the Australian airline, Qantas, will be offering in-flight WiFi connections on their newest Airbus A380s or their new Boeing 747-400s. However we still remember that Qantas is still testing in-flight cellphone usage, that started back in April and was supposed to last only three months. Apparently they need a better researched report to prove that using a cellphone just for emails and text messages (yes, no voice calls) is very safe for the flight security. The tests will end before February 2008, but a preliminary report will be drafted by the end of the year.
