It's been a very busy weekend on Apple's discussion boards and other forums because there seem to be a problem with the displays of the new iMac 24-inch Aluminum. Condensation scared the users because if you buy a new (expensive) computer you expect it to be in perfect condition when delivered.
Apparently the condensation - 3" x 2" big - appears in the right lower corner, stays for a couple of hours and then disappears and it's all because of the different temperatures. For example when they deliver it, outside could be a much lower temperature than in your room and when you turn it on, water appears and the same happens if your room is not heated enough. However, the real cause, is because it's made of Aluminum that holds the cold or heat very well and at causes condensation when the difference is considerable.
Apple does have a solution though, because the glass panel is removable, but I'm not sure how fans will think of the "best computer of the world". Let's wait and see if they will recognize the problem and what solution they'll come up with.
