The new baby born between News Corp and NBC.com, named Hulu is a premium videos website that will debut its beta launch today. I would really appreciate a system that would allow me to view my favorite shows and movies without having to pay for them, and Hulu will try to do it with CEO Jason Kilar in the pilot's seat.
Many people consider Hulu, as a YouTube killer but I won't agree fully because they have different targets, with one giving premium sessions and the other one going after small videos, ripped or home made. I still think YouTube will keep much of their reach but a few will migrate, I'll have to agree with that one.
TechCrunch found out that Hulu will be offering embedded video but people outside US are being blocked right now. However the first impression was very good, so I think we have a winner here.
