More or less accurate rumors have been release in regard with the new Dell XPS 420 but nothing confirmed until today when we got official wording that it will start selling on Dell's website.

 

The base system has an Intel Core 2 Duo processor E6570 at 2.66GHz, 2GB of memory, ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT with 256MB, 320GB Seagate SATA hard drive storage, 13 in 1 card reader and a 20-inch widescreen LCD display to go along. This one is priced at $1,499 and if you want the 22-inch widescreen display and Microsoft Office that goes for $1,698.

 

However there is a top-notch choice if you have use for it and the price is $2,479. Features Intel's Core 2 Q6600 quad-core processor with 8MB of L2 cache, at 2.4GHz, nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX graphics card with 768MB and a 500GB Seagate SATA 7,200 rpm hard drive.
