I've rest my eyes on a new beast just a few minutes ago from Dell and I guess this is the only one I would leave my laptop home and carry it on with me everywhere. Dell announced a new Intel X38 Express chipset computer, Precission T3400 that comes bundeled with 1GB up to 8GM of 800MHz EEC memory, four internal hard drives that work in SATA, SAS or RAID and a few processors to choose from, that include Intel Core 2 Duo and Extreme.
How does it sound? Should I add that the new Dell Precission T3400 features Nvidia Quadro FX 4600 graphics cards, supports up to four external displays, has a dual optical drive and a front-mounted multicard reader to boot.
It should be availale on Dell for a mere $1,000 as of today.
