It looks like the problem behind the iMac freezing could be solved soon, and Mac OS X could be considered a "perfect" operating system again. If you haven't heard so far, the interface freezes and users are unable to control any programs with the mouse or the keyboard or any other special commands, until they reboot, which makes me think of those blue screens in Windows.

However after discussions and discussions, it looks like they may have found the real trouble maker, ATI's Radeon HD Grapichs Cards and the drivers, and Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) is aware of the problem. Though they releasd video upgrades, two times now with 1.0 and 1.1, it only worsened how systems run. We're waiting for an official fix sooner because people Apple fanatics still want to think the iMac is the perfect computer and I agree.
