All the buzz for the 700MHz spectrum is not for nothing, with big players like Google or Apple bidding, many want a piece of it. Same goes for Ubiquiti Network that developed the first mini-PCI wireless card in the world, XtremeRange7 or XR7, that uses 32-bit mini-PCI Type IIIA standard that allows an output power of 600mW on a 50km range.
Ubiquiti XtremeRange7 will also feature TCP/IP rates of over 50MBps, 256-bit security and scalable channel bandwidths of 5/10/20/40 MHz. There is no word on pricing or release date, but let's wait and see what happens with the 700MHz Spectrum bid.
