The first time I saw this I begged it was a cellphone but the realized that I am staying in front of the world's smallest USB EV-DO modem. Designed by Novatel, Wireless Ovation MC727, worked hard to make a good first impression before it will be available soon in Verizon and Sprint.

 

The wonderful thing about an USB EV-DO modem is that it connects to the whenever you have access to a cellphone, and man it feels like WiFi. Now for the piece of resistance, the new Novatel MC727 comes with an microSD flash memory slot that you can put up to 4GB in. The price to stay connected is steep, $60 a month if you sign for the 2 years plan, and the modem costs only $80.
