For the second time in less than a month Toshiba is recalling certain laptop batteries. This time the recall covers Satellite A100, A105, and Tecra A7 models.
The July recall also had the same announcement that the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued "Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries containing Sony cells used in Toshiba notebook computers."
There have been no injuries reported however, notebook owners are suggested to run their units on AC Power and send the recalled batteries back to Toshiba for a free replacement.
Model numbers for the batteries in the latest recall are PSAA0U, PSAA2U, PSAA8U, PSAA9U, PTA70U, and PTA71U.
