Since you have to leave the office sometime and go home, here's an interesting gadget that completes any kitchen.
SensorfreshQ™ is a portable meat and poultry "sniffer." This small, hand-held device will measure the bacteria levels on uncooked meats and determine if it's edible. A red LED light signals that the meat is probably not safe to eat, yellow indicates it should be eaten within a day and green indicates that it's safe for consumption. Simply place the unit over the meat and push a button, a built-in fan draws in a sample for testing. The sensor cartridge, which is replaceable, will last up to 200 readings and the device automatically shuts off when the cartridge needs replacing.
The unit runs on 2 AA batteries, is 7 3/4" long and weighs 3.5 oz. Having the SensorfreshQ™ in your kitchen means never having to shove meat under people's noses and asking "Does this smell good to you?" [Source: SharperImage]
