The pen. There have been numerous unsuccessful attempts to re-invent this most basic of office tools. There have been fat ones, skinny ones, longer ones, shorter ones all with the aim of making them more ergonomic.
Now Pacific Writing Instruments is trying again. Pacific has released the PenAgain. With the advent of pdas, computers and other digital mediums there may be little need for writing but it still exists. ![]()
Pacific claims that normal pens are not designed around a human hand. They cause discomfort on the fingers and hand and can cause pinched muscles in the wrist. PenAgain was designed to eliminate those problems.
PenAgain is offered in a variety of "no-grip" colors, with refillable ink cartridges and retractable cap. The company is currently working on a mechanical pencil, a dry erase and a children's pencil version.
For someone that has chronic writer's cramp and writer's bump on my finger, this is something I'm definitely going to try.
PenAgain is available at a number of places including WalMart, Office Depot and Staples.
