With more and more people willing to become professional photographers, there is a very big demand for DSLR cameras and Panasonic became a player on that market after their first DSLR last year, Lumix DMC-1.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-10 is a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera with a LEICA D VARIO-ELMAR 14-50mm / F3.8-5.6 / MEGA O.I.S. lens, with focal length from 14mm to 50mm. Lumix DMC-10 boasts a 10.1 megapixel LIVE MOS sensor, has a 2.5-inch LCD that you can rotate at 270 degrees and a very smart, dust protection system for the sensor, called Supersonic Wave Filter. It also comes with optical image stabilization, intelligent ISO settings and face detection (first time to have it in a SLR).
You will be able to buy the new Panasonic Lumix DMC-10 from October 2007 and the price should be around $1300.
