There are many business men/women that use a laptop for email or office products, just to be mobile when they are traveling. Here is a solution from Hewlett Packard with their new HP Compaq 2210b/CT, that comes with a 12.1-inch widescreen Illumi-Lite display and weighting only 3.7-pounds (1.67-kg) designed specially for the office.

The ultraportable HP Compaq 2210b/CT is powered by a 1.86GHz Celeron processor, has 512MB of RAM and an 80 GB hard disk drive. It also has the basics in notebooks these days like an SD card slot, three USB 2.0 ports, an ExpressCard slot for 3G wireles, S-video output and ethernet ports. As an option you can get an integrated optical drive.

That's not the best notebook on the planet but it's small and light and the price of $760 makes it the ideal candidate for the office notebook running on Vista Home Basic.
