There are news about Dell M1730 that we told you about 3 weeks ago, and we said it will go on sale in August. Well it looks like we got that one well and we have some official specs now. The 17-inch display and the fact that it's working on Intel's PM965 Santa Rosa chipset (Core 2 Duo : T7300, T7500, T7700 or X7800 CPUs) would make a very good choice to change my 2-year old Acer, that I use at the office.
Dell XPS M1730 has up to 4GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GeForce Go 8700M GT graphics card, a Blu-ray drive, wireless 802.11, Bluetooth 2.0, lots of inputs and outputs and an ExpressCard 54 slot.This is really powerful and would suit almost any business.
Lots of other fancy features can be included and that include a built-in 2mpix camera and an Ageia PhysX Controller. The fancy features of the new Dell M1730 are the customizable external LED light and keyboard lightning.
