
In an industry announcement today, Buffalo Technologies showed off enhanced versions of their MiniStation and DriveStation products.
Tue Turbo USB feature operates at the controller level and increases data transfer between 30 percent and 60 percent.
The DriveStation will be available in September and comes in 320GB, 500 GB, 750 BG and 1TB. It also includes SecureLockWare software to protect the drive. Prices range from $130 to $500.
The MiniStation comes in 80GB, 120GB, 160GB and 250GB. With built-in shock resistant technology and a USB cable that is permanently attatched and wraps around the device for storage. Available as of the end of August, the portable drive price range is between $100 and $220.
