The good thing is Research in Motion (RIM) did (silently) a great job these days with launching an upgraded version of the original BB Curve, BlackBerry Curve 8310, that now has GPS navigation and advanced multimedia functionality. The not so good news is that it was unveiled in Germany and it's only available with Vodafone.
BlackBerry Curve 8310 is truely a smartphone, intended for business, and the best arguments are its specifications. It has a microSD card slot up to 4GB and a 2 megapixel camera with 5x digital zoom for great pictures, Vodafone Navigator software for easier GPS usage, 320 x 240 resolution screen, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
The offer is great if you want to buy it (import it), it's just €99.90 ($137) if you sign up with the Business and Home Combo 240 plan, and you get 1GB microSD card with 100 top chart songs in MP3 format.
