I stopped buying portable chargers for the car. This costs too much once you have too many gadgets stashed in your bag. Instead I bought a 12V to 220V power adaptor. Something like this particular one featured here in the picture, except that this one has a built in USB port for devices that can be charged with a mini USB cable.
