
By the end of the first semester of 2007, Seagate would have already announced its 1TB drives available for consumers. They claim that such a technology would be very reliable using their perpendicular recording technology which in a nutshell supposedly ensures that your 1 terrabyte of data will be safe from crashes and all that other stuff HDs usually suffer from. And this is not something to joke about. Ever lost 1TB worth of movies? You could practically record your entire life there.
