Well, the fact that it sacrifices a speed drop for compatibility over a wider number of mobile computers. This is because it has foregone the PCMCIA route and has taken USB as its master.

it looks just ok in my opinion, not the biggest advancement in mobile broadband. i for one am actaully more excited about the new 3 x-series broadband mobile service. it can truly come close to pc broadband experience.
