Maybe if I say that this new gadget I am writing about is the best, no one will bother to believe me. I mean there are about tons of new gadgets to play
games/watch videos/listen to music/view photos on. You just won't know which is really the best and the most blah blah blah right? But ok, believe ot or not I have the most unique gadget anyone can possibly think of now. It's so unique that it will be literally up to you to do what ever you want it to do! They've said and I quote "There's your console, now make it work differently, faster, slower, better, longer -- but don't blame us if you break it." Now that is some marketing strategy isn't it?
Running on two 275 MHz processors, has 64 MB of RAM, custom graphics and decoding chips but as I said it varies from owner to owner. But another good thing about this is it takes Secure Digital memory cards and runs on 2 AA batteries for five to 10 hours. And to top it off is a bright, 320 x 240 backlit screen, stereo sound and the option to connect it to a PC or TV, and your good to go! It will play .avi, .divx and .xvid format video and it doesn't matter what size/resolution they're in because the GP2X resizes them to fit. Getting music and other files is also as easy as ABC, just drag and drop.
It plays straight ports of PC games such as "Quake" and "Doom," plus it can use emulators such as MAME, SNES, Atari, Sega Megadrive, Genesis and GameGear. The GP2X file archive itself has hundreds of free games, but if that is still not enough for you sites such as ROMNation will give you more. And the as if all these are not enough, Gamepark even provide you with tools to develop your own game for free! At only US$247.50 what are you waiting for? Now I have no doubt you agree when I say this is the best gadget, or is it just for now?
