Our Chief Happiness Officer has outlined the three ways to stay happy at work. In spite the great pay, cool officemates and understanding boss (wow, you got all three! Congratulations!) you still do not feel complete. Something's missing, you say and our CHO is here to help. He recommends talking to your boss to outline the following:
- Being more creative and working on more varied projects, as opposed to only maintaining the bank’s internal programs.
- More fun at work. The mood in the department was very serious and professional, to the point of being boring.
- Learning some new professional skills.
Of course this three-fold plan assumes that you are part of that 70% of people who LIKE their work.
